D4PC Opinion: Congress and the president continue to congratulate themselves on their work in negotiating a deal which allegedly addresses our nation's deficit and long-term debt issues. Unfortunately, among the items off the table was ObamaCare. The Congressional Budget Office, which provided the numbers that are the basis of the debt ceiling "savings," is still using the same set of outdated numbers in their calculations that they used in March of 2010 when they originally scored the cost of ObamaCare. Anyone who has been following this blog understands that the facts have changed monthly as the law has been dissected and more hidden costs have emerged.
