Here is the link to today's Town Hall opinion piece. In this article we try to explain the misperception many Americans have about the role of "health" insurance relative to other insurance products. Unfortunately, members of congress have no greater understanding of this issue and do not appreciate how government meddling in the insurance marketplace has been the primary culprit in making "affordable" coverage beyond the reach of too many Americans. Dr. Scherz points out how the PPACA blatantly fails to achieve lawmakers' stated goals, however, he lays out a practical and affordable path to provide affordable coverage for all Americans.
