All Is Not Lost In Budget Battle, The American Thinker

Monday, April 11, 2011

For Americans who were disappointed in the miniscule amount of money cut from the 2011 budget and inability to eliminate the $105 Billion snuck in to fund Obamacare, there is some good news.  It appears that GOP negotiators were able to put the Senate Democrats in a very awkward position right before the 2012 elections.  As part of the deal to limit budget cuts to the anemic $38 Billion, Harry Reid will now have to open debate and a vote on repealing Obamacare on the US Senate floor.  This leaves vulnerable Senators with the task of going on record in their defense of a law that the majority of their constituents want repealed.  Of course, the mainstream media is not covering this story, but you are reading it here at D4PC.
