count myself as an ObamaCare supporter, but this doesn't blind me to the law's flaws. Bipartisan compromise will be necessary to reform health care in a constructive way. I have been researching ObamaCare and assisting with its implementation, and have come to this realization: Without further reforms, the law will create unnecessary costs for working-class Americans.

Premium Support Will Be Good for Seniors

Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute, wrote a commentary this week in support of House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan's proposal to implement premium support for Medicare. She makes the case that, "Ryan is working to save Medicare with his proposal to begin modernizing the program through premium support."

"Opponents of the proposal have charged that Ryan is planning to voucherize Medicare. But that shows a misunderstanding of the proposal. In contrast with vouchers, premium support allows for more flexible subsidies that can be adjusted and targeted to seniors based upon financial status, age, health status, or other considerations."
